3T claims the Exploro as the world’s first aero gravel bike. The RaceMax frameset is made to accommodate any riding style with the proper setup. Gravel racers can fit their 700c tires and run a 1x or 2x drivetrain. This setup is based around achieving road level speed on gravel. The “Max” part of the equation comes in for off-road riders who want to take on boarderline mountain bike terrain on their explore. The frame can take on 650b tires for those riders to thrive. 3T managed to create a frame that has the same reactive feel as a road frame and can handle technical downhills like a mountain bike.
